Being the only full-service university campus in the Brisbane CBD gives us close access to our corporate neighbours, and we utilise this access to offer career resources including internships and industry projects.

Internship Program

The BGSB has formed relationships with a number of companies through the Internship Program for its MBA students. These companies have assisted the BGSB in recruitment, unit and awards sponsorship, internships, research projects and industry analysis.

CEED Program

The CEED (Cooperative Education for Enterprise Development) project provides a Scholarship of $2,750 and 3 days work per week within a company for postgraduate students of the School of Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations (AMPR) and the School of Accountancy. 2007 Australia Korea Internship Program

The 2007 Australia Korea Internship Program was held on 4 December 2006 by the Australia Korea Foundation for Postgraduate and Final Year Students of the School of Accountancy. It is an annual event in which an internship for 2 months is awarded in Seoul where the student works for a major multinational Korean company.

Small Enterprise Association of Australia & New Zealand

SEAANZ is Australasia's leading small enterprise association of professionals in practice, education, training and government. SEAANZ (Queensland) was formed in 2003 to bring together people from many different sectors who all have a common interest, i.e. the development of small business in our state. This includes business owners, suppliers to small businesses, researchers, professional advisors, service providers, educators, and policy makers.

Advisory Committee

Our real-world connections also extend to our Advisory Committee, which is a group of industry professionals who combine with our senior academic staff to provide input into our curriculum and general strategic direction. The Advisory Committee also has a number of international members who bring a global perspective.

QUT Career Services

QUT’s Careers & Employment section establishes relationships with employers by offering them a  comprehensive range of services for graduate recruitment.

These services help to raise the profile of a company with QUT students and provide organisations with an opportunity to recruit from QUT's student body.

QUT's Career Mentor scheme connects career mentors with students to provide an appreciation of the workplace culture and challenges of their chosen profession.
